Buyers Take Notice of Edogawa City Craftsmanship: Edogawa Collection Exhibits at the 101st Tokyo International Gift Show 2026

Edogawa Collection exhibited at the 101st Tokyo International Gift Show 2026, held at Tokyo Big Sight over three days from Wednesday, February 4 to Friday, February 6, 2026.

This time, 10 Edogawa Collection partners took part. A total of 46 items were displayed, including products from the Edogawa Traditional Craft Industry, Academia, and Public Project, co-developed with Joshibi University of Art and Design.

The event welcomed 226,166 visitors, including approximately 2,500 international attendees. A wide range of buyers stopped by the Edogawa Collection booth, carefully examining the items—each crafted with great care by Edogawa Collection partners.

Four types of brushes from TAKASAGO Corporation and four types of tenugui from Murai Senkoujyo, both exhibiting with Edogawa Collection for the first time.

Wind chimes by Shinohara Furin drew particular attention from overseas buyers.

Handmade pop signage caught the eye at the display of glass tableware by Nakakin Glass. The blue piece in the center, Gekko (Moonlight), received the Edogawa Prize (Grand Prize) in the FY2025 Edogawa Traditional Craft Industry, Academia, and Public Project.
